Paulina Almira is an artist whose work intertwines nature with macabre imagery in narratives of post-colonial repair, organic decay, and everyday delight. She depicts tension between subjects unlikely to coexist in real life and infuses them with energy that is sensual and odd; cozy and unsettling.

She is currently developing a body of paintings that honor home and stillness, engaging with nature as a means of reclaiming culture after a history of colonization. Across both digital and traditional media, empathy and peaceful coexistence remain at the core of her practice.

Paulina is based in the Philippines and is represented by H+ Creative.
